Seas Excel M15CH002 (E0043)

The M15CH002 is a 6" paper cone midrange utilising a unique Nextel coating, which produces a smooth frequency response and low distortion.  

A patented HEXADYM magnet system based on 6 small radially magnetised neodymium blocks, is designed to reduce sound energy reflexions and cavity resonances due to air flow noise. The chrome plated brass phase plug reduces compression due to temperature variations in the voice coil, increases long term power handling and eliminates resonances in the voice coil former cavity.

Heavy copper rings mounted above and below the T-shaped pole piece reduce non linear and modulation distortion and increase the overload margin.

As with all the Excel range, the M15CH002 also utilises and extremely stiff and stable injection moulded metal basket, which keeps all the critical components in perfect alignment. Whilst the large windows in the basket, above and below the basket, reduce sound reflexion, air flow noise and cavity resonance to a minimum.
