27mm Metal Dome Treble

High definition metal dome treble with a wide soft polymer surround and damped rear chamber. The Hexagrid protects the Aluminium/Magnesium diaphragm and supports a phase plate which compensates for a slight axial roll off towards 10kHz, whilst the Sonomax surround helps to produce low resonance and excellent mechanical linearity.

The voice coil is immersed in a low viscosity magnetic fluid, to increase short term power handling and reduce compression at high power levels.

The chassis is precision moulded from glass fibre reinforced plastic and the optimally damped rear chamber allows the 27TBFC/G to be used with moderately low crossover frequencies.

Ideal replacement for use in many classic speakers including Acoustic Energy, Castle,  Monitor Audio and Rogers, or wherever a good quality alternative with a 104mm faceplate is required.
