27mm Soft Dome Treble

High definition soft dome treble with a diaphragm and integral surround made from SONOLEX, a precoated lightweight fabric developed by SEAS, which produces a superior high frequency response compared to other traditional materials.

The voice coil is wound onto an aluminium former with ventilating holes, which eliminate noise from internal air flow and is immersed in a low viscosity magnetic fluid, for high power handling and simplified crossover design.

The chassis is precision moulded from glass fibre reinforced plastic and the optimally damped rear chamber allows the 27TFFC to be used with moderately low crossover frequencies.

Ideal replacement for use in many classic speakers including Celestion, KEF, Mission and Wharfedale, or for other treble units where a good quality alternative with a 104mm faceplate is required.
