Volt VM753 Midrange Unit - 75mm Dome

75mm Soft Dome Midrange (16ohm)

Exclusive to Wilmslow Audio, this version of Volt's renowned VM752 is the perfect successor to the now discontinued ATC SM75-150. Like the VM752, it is a classic 75mm diameter soft dome midrange loaded by a short front mounted horn. It uses a single layer round-wire copper coil, which is slightly longer than the focused magnet gap, to allow for excursions at the lower end of it's operating range.

The dome and double surrounds are critically doped for smoothness and consistency of response. The magnet system uses a 200mm ceramic magnet for high efficiency and is solidly fixed to a diecast aluminium chassis.

The VM753 requires rear mounting onto a 20mm (min) baffle board using M5 bolts into threaded inserts built into the chassis.
